On the DVD of Penn & Teller's Magic and Mystery Tour, we are treated to a few extra goodies.
Before each episode, you are able read production notes by director Ric Bienstock, for some behind the scenes information about the shooting conditions.
Also included are some deleted scenes from each of their locales.
From the Chinese episodes, you are treated to more of Penn teaching the children how to speak all the important English words, like "Penn & Teller rule!". You are also given an up-close version of the mask trick, which, for better or for worse, reveals some of the trick.
In the Egyptian deleted scene, you see their encounter with a magnificient eater, who consumes razor blades, glass, bricks, and manages to bend a quarter in his teeth. "Worth coming downstairs for" proclaims Penn.
And finally, the Indian deleted scene is the Bullet Catch trick performed by Prince Sil, after some slight gun problems.
In general, a good cap to the series, and reading the director's notes gives some great insight into the documentary.
