And tangentially, this comment is just stupid beyond belief. I'm white, but I'm also ethnically Estonian, which means my particular tribal ancestry entails over 700 years of serfdom and chattel slavery under German, Swedish, and Russian ruling classes, ending, coincidentally, in the mid-19th century. Low-caste Indians are to this day treated worse than dogs. Jews and Gypsies were marched by the millions to gas chambers. It's the height of arrogance to proclaim that blacks are somehow unique in history at being enslaved, killed, and treated inhumanely because of the accident of their birth and ethnicity.
