We're coming up to the 50th anniversary of ?In God We Trust? being the national motto of the USA (The previous motto ?E Pluribus Unum? having been active for 170 years ? as long as the United States themselves).
I remember a Randi newsletter where he had mock-ups of dollar bills with ?In Thor We Trust? and ?In Allah We Trust? printed on them.
Maybe we should have athiesm themed money?
Not being an American I wouldn?t dare suggest a change in the motto on their currency (though I saw a t-shirt with it changed to ?Who?s Your Daddy?? in Dublin last summer) but what would you suggest as a replacement for "In God We Trust"?
