Re:The.Penn.Jillette.Radio.Show.2006.05.09 - 2006/05/09 23:46 17KB/s here. Not great but certainly a whole lot better than <1KB/s.
I still wish we had a torrent released alongside the direct link though. We'd get it faster, plus FreeFM would have to pay for less bandwidth.

Re:The.Penn.Jillette.Radio.Show.2006.05.09 - 2006/05/10 09:29 Honestly I came here to post that this was probably the least interesting Penn radio I've heard.
Everything went in one ear and out the other. I can't tell you a single monkey story. And boy was I excited about monkey tuesday.

I've had a long day though.
Would it be sad of me to listen to it twice?

Re:The.Penn.Jillette.Radio.Show.2006.05.09 - 2006/05/11 16:44 The show is aired with a ten-second delay. The live chit-chat is monitored by some folks in New York. If they hear something they don't want going out on the airwaves, they push a button and several seconds of about-to-be-broadcast, cached audio are "dumped", and thus don't make it on the air. The listener hears a skip or a gap in the conversation, the FCC doesn't fine them, and Penn gets to keep his job.

Re:The.Penn.Jillette.Radio.Show.2006.05.09 - 2006/05/11 18:34 I know! Penn said they would post a text of the entire phone call or heads would roll (or something like that). I wanna see some heads going by me 'cause I haven't seen any text yet!
