while yahoo news isn't the most reliable news source, if this is correct, the reason why south park had that censored scene in the episode is because the whole 2 part episode was built around the premice that comedy central would not allow them to do a parody of muhammed where they actually show muhammed.

whatever the real reason were, i beleve the past two episodes of south park were incredible and were a great argument for free speech.

I'm thinking that what we (angry North Americans) all need to start drawing our own impression of Mohammed and post them EVERYWHERE in North America. If enough people do it maybe we can induce more violence from these idiots and get this holy war officially and openly on the move. I'll start drawing mine tonight.

I'm really trying to fight this tendency to hate Muslims in general but in my mind these executives are giving into the threat of terrorism propagated by Muslims Internationally. That in turn is justification to the act of terrorism itself which means 'they' are winning if we let this go unchecked. Grab your pencils and scanners people!

Pictures of Muhammad - 2006/04/13 20:11 I though the South Park episdoe was great. I'm not sure what to think about Comedy Central not wanting to show the prophet.. But I've no problem with pennfans.net depicting the prophet muhammed. Here are the pictures that were printed in Denmark's Jyllands Posten newspaper.

Matt and Trey have both said they love file sharing and have even admitted (sort of) to leaking their own episodes, saying that they don't care how you see it as long as you do see it.

DAMN i love that

The bit about establishment of religion and petition the government for a redress of grievances are my favorites, and I love that the first amendment gives Comedy central the right to choose what it wants or dosen't want to air and can't be forced by Matt and Trey to show Mohammed. I'm with Penn on this all the way, if comedy centraly wants to pull the scientology episode or Bloody Mary or thsi episode if it wants to it can no matter what all the fans want and that is what free speach is. I still think those guys at CC are BIG DOUCHES (not John Edward big douche but he is the biggest douche in the universe) for pulling the scientology episode and for not allowing them to do a parody of muhammed even though they already had, but Freedom of Speech is the freedom to be a Big Douche.

Jabjabs is right on, all Matt and Trey have to do is take the small piece that was cut and pass it anonomously to a few SP fan sites and overnight a newly edited version of the episode will spread like wildfire on the internet.

I like the idea of having everyone submit a picture of Mohammed, picturesofmohammed.com really went to shit and no one has bought the .org or .net yet, mine will be a cheesy cut&paste job though because I can't draw like cyborganics. I really wwnat people to get over this so that TV stations will start to air the Super Best Friends episode again. I haven't seen it aired since that Denmarkk BS and it is one of my favorite episodes, It made fun of all the major religions, Cults and David Blain (interestingly it was SP's first bashing of Scientolog)
