Re:Show for 4/3/6 - 2006/04/03 19:43 Yes there was a show today. My recording is missing the first minute or so. I'll try to record the 10pm show and get it on the site before I go to sleep tonight. If I miss that airing you will have to wait for the official podcast from pennradio.com. It should be up there tomorrow.

Re:Show for 4/3/6 - 2006/04/04 03:17 I think this site was vaguely mentioned on the show today.. not in a positive light mind you, but the person passing on the information about this site is biased anyway. At any rate, If Margaret Downey is out there.. Thanks for visiting, and thank you for your efforts in the courts!

Re:Show for 4/3/6 - 2006/04/04 07:41 I recorded the show. Mine is 43min & 39sec long.
The official podcast is still just snippets right?
I'll upload my encoding to rapidshare for you.

EDIT: Hmm.. the official podcast is 43min & 55sec.. so I guess there's no need for fanrecordings anymore

Agreed. My only concern is that Penn mentioned her letter stated that there were some misquotes on the site. Our whole reason behind doing this is to spread the "gospel" of Penn, and we are definitely not in the business of misrepresenting him at all. If anyone finds any misquotes on the site, I hope you'll let us know right away. We're hoping to bring you pure, 100% unfiltered, Penn Jillette (and Mike Goudeau)!

Re:Show for 4/3/6 - 2006/04/04 13:03 I assume this is the misquote.

LOL, ok. But in our defence, Jesterchief did reference it as coming from wikiquote, which we know can be edited by anyone.
In fact, I'm tempted to erase it, seeing as none of us have heard this quote, though we've watched all of the released episodes of BS... Freedom of speech vs. being accurate... Any thoughts?

Edit: The "quote" went up in October of 2004, so we can dismiss it as being from Season 3 or 4. Having just gone through Season 2 in excrutiating detail in order to work on the episode guide, it definitely wasn't there. I say the quote is bullshit, and we erase it.

Re:Show for 4/3/6 - 2006/04/04 14:36 Sounds good. And, I went ahead and removed the actual quote from the page in question: http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Penn_Jillette. Let's do our part and put up some good (or bad, but at least authentic) quotes from the man himself, to try and fill it out. And how about some for Teller? We've got some great radio pieces they both did that should have something substantial.

Or maybe we should just stick with updating this one: http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Penn_&_Teller.
