P&T on Letterman - 2008/05/06 00:30 It's 'Magic Week' on Letterman. Lance ("Good morning Lance...") Burton is today (Monday), Mac King is Tuesday, can't remember the two magicians' names that are on wednesday and thursday, and P&T are on Friday. Can't wait...

Re:P&T on Letterman - 2008/05/06 13:11 Wednesday Dirk Arthur - Illusionist with lots of machinery, assistants and big cats. B
Thursday Steve Wyrick - Big, spectacular illusions but has trouble engaging the audience B-

(For the record the magazine I was reading gave Lance a "B+", Mac an "A" and P&T an "A-")

Re:P&T on Letterman - 2008/05/07 15:19 One of the entertainment ones in Vegas.

Can't remember the name of the magazine yet can remember the magician reviews in detail. D'oh!

Re:P&T on Letterman - 2008/05/08 13:08 They all blend together, huh?

Interestingly, it seem to line up with Penn's assessment: Mac has the best magic show, followed by P&T, and Lance is PERFECTLY ADEQUATE!

Re:P&T on Letterman - 2008/05/08 14:15 Perfectly Adequate?

You might say that but I couldn't possibly comment...

Re:P&T on Letterman - 2008/05/09 19:17 I didn't say it, Penn did - on the radio show. Although I'll be able to decide for myself, because I'm seeing Lance (and Goudeau!!!) next month. Woo-hoo!

Re:P&T on Letterman - 2008/05/10 23:54 They did the glasses/cement block trick with Paul Schaffer. I went to see P&T at the Rio about 5 months ago, and they opened with this; it's a good, fun trick...I'm just still trying to figure out how Teller gets those glasses on after Penn passes them to him through the back of the block.

Re:P&T on Letterman - 2008/05/16 11:46 I am no magic expert but it seems to me that Teller's right hand is not real. His left hand moves but the right one doesn't for the longest time. RE: Penn passes the glasses to Teller's right hand, then Teller slips his hand back into the inside of the 'fake right hand, arm' after he puts the glasses on.
