Penn on Dancing with the Stars - 2008/02/18 22:56 Penn eluded to a big tv gig in his penn says about getting botox injections around his mouth. Turns out he is going to be on Dancing with the Stars...what do you guys think?...

Never watched the show, or any other like it, but now I will, with Penn on. And also with Adam Carolla, another guy who I really enjoy hearing opinions from...im expecting awkwardness though, i don't know.

Re:Penn on Dancing with the Stars - 2008/02/19 01:49 I've been hooked on it for the past couple of seasons. I'm tickled. Wayne Newton was on it last season. As long as Penn at least does better than him, I'll be happy.

Re:Penn on Dancing with the Stars - 2008/02/19 01:58 Jesus! I've watched Dancing with the Stars every season, so this'll be quite a treat. Although I have to say that Penn will probably be eliminated fairly quickly, because of all the reasons that we love him – he's a big square-headed loudmouth. It's pretty difficult to do well on that show if you're 3 bucks. But best of luck to him!

Re:Penn on Dancing with the Stars - 2008/02/19 11:10 Penn and Adam Carolla are both on this season... I wonder how many more atheists will be on this season.

also, do you think Penn is on this show to promote anything else besides the show at the Rio? Is there a new season of Bullshit! or something else?

Re:Penn on Dancing with the Stars - 2008/02/19 18:20 Now I just have to decide how I'm going to vote. Up until now, I've always just voted for whom I really thought danced the best. I wasn't a "fan" of any of the contestants. Now ..?

Of course, for one, it's often written in the press how the stars with the biggest fan bases tend to last longer than they deserve (Marie Osmond, anybody?). The show is as much a popularity contest as a dance contests ... and hell, what's wrong with that? It's not like winning is going to propel these people into a shining new dance career. It's entertainment, pure and simple.

All that rationalization aside ... Hmm.

Re:Penn on Dancing with the Stars - 2008/02/20 01:47 I make myself feel better by not bothering to vote.

Seriously, I'm not going to spend 75 cents on something with no carbs in it.

Re:Penn on Dancing with the Stars - 2008/02/20 02:40 I've never seen the show, but I'll tune in to catch Penn bust a move.

Just win, or lose spectacularly

LOL! Well quoted.

Oh, and Pentomino, voting online is free (though still distressingly carb-free).

Re:Penn on Dancing with the Stars - 2008/02/20 16:01 well, on the Carolla show this morning, it was revealed that Penn has the longest odds, at 30 to 1.

Like Penn always says, the only way to waste your vote is to vote.

Re:Penn on Dancing with the Stars - 2008/02/21 12:10 I take it someone will either be recording this so we can pirate it here or someone will be searching for such clips.

Really, to be honest, I don't want to watch this show, but I do wanna see Penn.

Re:Penn on Dancing with the Stars - 2008/02/21 20:21 Penn may actually be a good dancer!

Does anybody remember a female caller to Penn Radio saying that she danced with him in some bar many years ago and he had good rhythm. I definitely don't remember which episode, buy maybe some of you may remember that.

"On this season of Dancing with the Stars, you will believe a 300 pound man can dance!"

I forgot about that trick and I've seen it about a dozen times.
