Re:Return of Penn Radio? - 2007/07/12 18:57 I don’t get it. Penn ended the show because he didn’t have time for it with the live show and BS. So how does moving to sony change this.
sony must be letting Penn change the show in some way that freefm didn’t want.
I can’t wait to hear Penn again in whatever format

He was doing Identity, and that got canceled. That also required him to fly to LA on a fairly regular basis.

Re:Return of Penn Radio? - 2007/07/12 22:59 Penn said that FreeFM was having too much trouble marketing a one hour show, and that's why they decided to end it. So I figure either Sony is willing to take a shot at it, or they've talked him into doing more hours.

Or - and this is most likey, I think - a mad scientist has created a robot-Penn duplicate that will take on extra jobs like the radio show while the real Penn continues to do the live show and Bullshit. Or ... vise versa. Who can tell?

I would prefer the vice versa, I mean in the live show and bullshit Penn's part could easily be done by a robot, or better yet a trained monkey. However the radio show was Penn at his best.

Very true. Nowhere else can we hear Penn rave, rant, and ramble off the top of his head for an hour. Ah... I do miss it so.

Re:Return of Penn Radio? - 2007/07/18 17:49 I do hope that Penn gets back on the radio. He was always very entertaining.

I grew up with Penn and I havent talked with him in years so I would love to talk with him sometime.

Re:Return of Penn Radio? - 2007/07/19 17:52 Cheese and rice !
How I'd love to hear Penn rant about that whole serial pot smoking revelation in the British government after a project to automtically prosecute people found guilty of posession was launched.

I can hear Penn's desperate cries in front of Google News from here. And I live in Paris, France.

Re:Return of Penn Radio? - 2007/07/22 18:45 Well, I'd turn my Ipod off for however long Penn's show is on, and back on again as soon as it's over, so CBS or whoever could have me back for at least that long. Chicago talk radio has gotten really bad, so thank you skepticasts!!
