Goudeau on Leno see it here - 2007/05/07 12:21 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBsmezc2uX0

Here in Korea, the Tonight Show is delayed by a day (or more... Friday's show is shown on Monday). So I had some lead time to "capture" it. I've done a pretty crappy capture. Just shot the TV screen with my digital camera. Don't even have a VCR here in Korea.

Anyway, upped it to my podcast's video section. It's very low res, crap sound (youtube seems to delay the sound a bit... the voice/mouths don't match), but at least you can get an idea.

Re:Goudeau on Leno see it here - 2007/05/08 21:19 Whoa. That's what a good recording looks like.

Michael Goudeau (praise be his name) said he wanted to do it in tux (like the photo of him on the NBC page) but they wanted him to do it in his street clothes so he would seem more like an amateur. He was a bit like "the biggest show a person in the variety arts can do and they make me wear my street clothes!"

Re:Goudeau on Leno see it here - 2007/05/09 01:39 Movie projectionist? what the hell...

is this really old or something?

Surely Goudeau can do something better than that...

I guess they wanted the bit to seem like it wasn't being done by a pro. So he had to make up a job. I guess he could have truthfully stated "I'm a projectionist" and jugglers do project things into the air.

Re:Goudeau on Leno see it here - 2007/05/10 19:37 That was amazing
Who was the main guest on that show/episode, so I can find it more easily? Thanks.
