God Hates The World! - 2007/04/16 20:24 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKXIbG0ygJo&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Farbroath%2Eblogspot%2Ecom%2F

Take a look at the above link people. As far as I can tell, this is a legitimate group and they're actually serious!!

I laughed so hard, it plays so much like a parody that it's ridiculous! I don't think even everybody there took it seriously, a few of them looked like they could break out in laughter any minute!!

One thing I'm wondering is about the guy waving the upside-down Canadian flag. Was he making a statement or was that just a mistake?

I haven't laughed so hard in quite a while!

Re:God Hates The World! - 2007/04/17 02:49 I really want to be outraged by this thing, but it's so FUNNY!! If it's a parody, it's beautifully done. If not ... wow!

Great find, Parrot.

Wow indeed. If I understand correctly, these are the same assholes who picket outside of soldiers' funerals because they believe that these death's are God's punishment for our tolerance of homosexuality and other sins.

So from what I've been able to ascertain, it's supposed to be serious. But to my mind that makes it all the funnier. Unintentional parodies are just awesome!

Plus, they're just making all the arguments for us as to why we shouldn't listen to them.

Re:God Hates The World! - 2007/04/17 16:21 ...unfortunately they are serious. this is the westboro baptist church, you know, the same people who protest soldier's funerals. you can see shirly phelps in the front row singing.

shirly phelps is a frequent guest on the adam carolla morning show, pretty much just so danny bonaduce can yell at her. and everytime shirly is on she has a new song just like this. it's usually just the melody of a popular song with the fresh hateful lyrics.

the wikipedia entry explains the upside down canadian flag. i think they are the one group of people that everyone doesn't feel bad for hating, i think that all christians, mormons, jews, muslims, atheists, canadians and everyone can put aside their differences and just say "hey, we all fucking hate these assholes" they may bring world peace if we focus all our attention on hating these idiots.

EDIT: this just appeared on DIGG.
