The site isn't going anywhere. Maybe now I will have time to finish the Bullshit Episode Guide.

Re:Final show is tomorrow!!!!! - 2007/03/01 22:50 I think everyone should e-mail Goudeau thanking Penn and him for a great year and a few months of show, encouraging them to come back soon. They tabulate every positive response, trust me... and it is nice to give back some praise to a great radio host who actually has something to say.

Re:Final show is tomorrow!!!!! - 2007/03/02 00:22 This is such a shame for the listeners. I've been listening to Penn Radio podcast since the first month they went on. It was so long ago that I don't even remember how I came across it in the first place. It probably had something to do with Bullshit!...

I've made this an important part of may day for well over a year now. I hope there is SOME kind of forum for Penn to engage in the marketplace of ideas to take place of the radio show (other than Bullshit! of course).

Almost feels like losing a friend because of how much you learn about a person's life because of a damn radio show!

Re:Final show is tomorrow!!!!! - 2007/03/02 01:47 I know for a fact, the Penn Radio show has made it almost a given that once I'm back in North America I'm going to make the haj to the Rio to see his act. Penn has admitted that that show is his true cash cow. While he doesn't agree with people downloading eps of Bulls *clap* hit, it certainly drives people to pay $70 to see his show.

How many of you went to see the P&T show at the Rio as a direct result of Penn Radio?

*raises hand*

BTW, the tickets these days run from $82.50 to $93.50 (plus a $5.95 per-ticket "web fee" if you order online).

Re:Final show is tomorrow!!!!! - 2007/03/02 02:35 Well, I'm saving up for a trip to TAM next January as well as both the Penn and Teller show and Lance Burton while I'm in Vegas.

BTW, what happened to the original thread about the cancellation, it seems to have vanished into thin air.

Re:Final show is tomorrow!!!!! - 2007/03/02 05:56 Yeah. Maybe St. Mike let the cat out of the bag before he was supposed to?

Just done that, kept it short and sweet just the way it should be.

Going to miss it but working in TV my self at times I can completely understand why they are doing it.

We'll see them in the monkey house later some time.

Just so you know, the next Las Vegas TAM will be in June 2008. There will be a mini-TAM in Ft. Lauderdale, FL in January. No announcements yet on who will be at that one.

Re:Final show is tomorrow!!!!! - 2007/03/02 12:23 How incredibly sad. I don't know what to say. I loved that show and it was such a big part of my life this past year. I'm not just saying it gave me one hour of joy a day but it gave me so much more. It opened doors to a whole new outlook on life through Atheism. It helped introduce me to so many cool people. I'm so sad to hear this news. so sad.

Re:Final show is tomorrow!!!!! - 2007/03/02 12:25 My husband surprised me with hotel stay at the Rio and great seats at the P&T show because of the radio show.... Because that show opened up all the doors in my interest in Penn Jillette. I would have gone to see Goudeau if we had more time there.
