Magic Tricks - 2007/02/19 14:05 I really want to know how to do the trick that Teller does where he spits cards. Someone asked me a stupid-ass question the other day and I wish I could've responded with that.

Re:Magic Tricks - 2007/02/19 15:46 have a little deck of cards, not a full deck. Conseal it in your hand and bring the deck and your hand up to your mouth. Shove the deck in your mouth and let the cards fall out.

Re:Magic Tricks - 2007/02/19 17:32 I thought he did it with a full size deck. I mean... I don't think a lot of people want a big deck in their mouth. Some might. I only posted for the wordplay.

Re:Magic Tricks - 2007/02/19 21:57 I dont think he means a smaller deck, I think he means a packet of 10 or 20 cards, those would be easier to conceal and stuff in your mouth, and when people see it they wont be counting how many cards come out of your mouth. One variation would be to force a card (that you secretly put a duplicate of on top of the packet) and sneak the packet in your mouth, then, for the reveal, hold on to the top card (their card) with your lips or teeth, and let all the others fall out. It drives people crazy.

Re:Magic Tricks - 2007/02/26 05:03 The mechanics of this trick are fairly simple, although the timing and misdirection are what is going to be the part you will need to focus on when you practice this.

Palm about 20-30 cards in your right hand. Leave this hand at your side. Do this when the attention is on something else.

Point to your mouth with your left hand and open your eyes really big.

As you start to open your mouth, bring your right hand up to your face and simply push the cards about halfway into your mouth. Immediately let the cards spill out and use your left hand to grab them as they come pouring out.

The better you get the more you look like teller. hehe
