Re:Penn.Jillette.Radio.Show.2006.08.30 - 2006/08/30 15:35 Where is this being recorded? Is this live? Penn is in Minnesota today. He was at the State Fair last night and will be on Stage with Mary Lucia of The Current 89.3 (public radio popular music station) at 3 pm central.

I know he announced on the show monday that he would broadcast the show from the MN State Fair Thurs. Sadly, you can only hear it online in MN if you are not at the Fair (no affiliates).

I was planning on going and seeing him broadcast tomorrow at the fair (long lunch). He is on so long today and the window is so large I can't just skip that much work (as a contractor, it would cost more than taking a friend to his Vegas show!).

Re:Penn.Jillette.Radio.Show.2006.08.30 - 2006/08/30 15:41 See, I should have known that. He jokes about the fact that they don't take calls during those shows, but they really can't!

So, he is, indeed going to broadcast from the Fair manyana? If not I won't try to brave the traffic, it is totally crazy around the fairgrouns and I otherwise avoid the whole thing every year the best I can.

However, this year, in addition to seeing Penn, he said that there is a real (some would say The Real) sideshow on the midway. So I may have to see that.

Re:Penn.Jillette.Radio.Show.2006.08.30 - 2006/08/30 15:56 I'm guessing that they're going to have a link to Goudeau in the studio. I hope it's live.

And maybe something similar on Friday in L.A.
