Penn.Jillette.Radio.Show.2006.07.11 - 2006/07/11 15:19 No Monkey Music!

Penn and the famous "secret Tour de France star", Michael Goudeau are here, ready to go.

NOW we get the Monkey Music

It's Monkey Tuesday (International Edition)
(well, okay - "Bad English Accent" Edition)

Penn goes over the meaning of Monkey Tuesday.

Penn states his qualifications and advises how to formulate your stories.

But first:
Stupid name news

Caller Stan: Planet of the Apes - A wise ape. Great childhood - Gene Wilder story (Penn accidentally cuts him off)

International Caller Berenice (A Brit): Dick van Dyke, Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder - Hartlepool Monkey Stuff.

12 Angry Men in the UK - bad American accents

Hugh Laurie is not American
Goudeau hearing fake English in France

Check you calendars...

<break>

Screeching back into the show.
Halloween Monkey Tuesday (in New York) announced! (Jonesy - get writing that spooky monkey music...)

Penn's scary monkey rant

Goudeau: Monkey Monroe?

Sneeze guard should be a job.

Penn wants a competition for carving "Monk-o-Lanterns"

Capacity vs No. of people showing up in New York.

Election day will be a Monkey Tuesday.

<break>

More chattering over the Monkey Music.
Penn has calmed down.
Alan Alda, King Kong, Jane Goodall & Mickey Dolenz. Reforming (sort of) the Monkees

Gmail Ken: Corrects Penn.
What did Newfoundland used to be?
Caller Berenice discussed.
Caller John: Why not Baltimore?
Penn and Halloween.
Caller Paul: Why not do the show at a zoo? Will carve a pumpkin. Tries a British accent.

Caller Justin (from Baltimore): Florida Monkey story (skirting bestiality), he fed it eggs and got bitten. (Patrick is asleep)

IF they can get permission - there will be a Halloween Monkey Tuesday - maybe Penn will dress in a monkey suit, try to climb the Empire State Building (a bit) while people throw paper airplanes at him.

Goudeau has dressed as a monkey on many occasions and even was an underwater monkey for Penn...

Monkey Tuesday will return...

Re:Penn.Jillette.Radio.Show.2006.07.11 - 2006/07/11 18:36 admin, my dear admin, I love you so very much it's almost wrong. Thanks for your hard work on the website and the podcasts. You allow for Penn Radio to make everyone of my days, and for that you deserve more than some gambling money from Happy Jack... probably a Pink Mini Cooper even.

When did this happen????
It's new. I just launched the site this week.

Did someone send this site to Penn????Yeah, but the more people that email it to pennradio the better. They pay more attention to stuff that they get many emails about.

admin, my dear admin, I love you so very much it's almost wrong. Thanks for your hard work on the website and the podcasts. You allow for Penn Radio to make everyone of my days, and for that you deserve more than some gambling money from Happy Jack... probably a Pink Mini Cooper even. Thanks, I'll be expecting a mini in my email sometime this week, or a paypal contribution of a few thousand $ so that I can buy one

I'm with Stratego here... how do you manage to keep it up admin? Thanks to everyone that is helping out on the site. Weather it be with mirroring the mp3s, doing the show summaries, participating on the forums, or just emailing me to say thanks. I wouldn't be doing this if you people weren't here to participate in the site.

We have to throw a celebration for you at some point, don't ask how but it has to happen... vlad can come to.Maybe some of us could meet in Vegas at the BIG Penn & Teller show.. We would of course have to plan wayyyy in advance

Re:Penn.Jillette.Radio.Show.2006.07.11 - 2006/07/12 21:53 Just a suggestion. I would set up a forum on http://monkeytuesday.pennfans.net

That way people who love Monkey Tuesday everywhere could share Monkey stories, Monkey videos and pictures, and Monkey news.

I would even suggest a Monkey Wiki, The monkey Tuesday revolusion is sweeping the globe and you could have the number 1 Monkey Tuesday site on the web!

Re:Penn.Jillette.Radio.Show.2006.07.11 - 2006/07/13 04:32 Hey I'm so happy... I was the first one to put the note in the monkey tuesday wiki about monkey tuesday falling on a halloween (of course true Penn & Goudeau fans would say halloween falls on a monkey tuesday this year). Some wiki zealot cut the whole section out but I put it back in. It's like "dude, okay, I know there's the whole neutral POV thing but c'mon... it's an entry about a day dedicated to stories about (preferably) SMOKING MONKEYS. You can unclench the butt cheeks just a lil?"

Someone changed my original header from "July 4 Monkey Tuesday and Beyond" to "Special Monkey Tuesdays" or something. I can live with that. I'm just glad they left in my lil joke about papal changes to the calendar. Penn actually made a reference to that bit too.

(BTW I'm the Karl in Korea who wrote the "signs you're listening to Penn Radio a little too much". And I'm the quote stalker on the Goudeau wiki... I put in the "christ-like figures" category thing at the bottom.)

And I would have to fly over from Australia!

Maybe one day...
