Re:The.Penn.Jillette.Radio.Show.2006.06.23 - 2006/06/24 18:35 As a kid I thought that any Disney that wasn't animated was guaranteed to be shite.
(The 1970s being particularly bad)

Re:The.Penn.Jillette.Radio.Show.2006.06.23 - 2006/06/25 04:51 Actually, he didn't say he thought it was bad. He just said most people didn't like it, but it was exactly the movie they wanted to make.

Loved his "you rat bastard!" at Michael for taking the call, though.

Hhaha listened to it again .. rat bastard lol...
Penn did say the list of people who like that movie includes nobody. He did say that from their perspective there was something cool about it and there is a small cult of people who get what they're trying to do, but nobody likes the movie

Re:The.Penn.Jillette.Radio.Show.2006.06.23 - 2006/06/29 04:03 I am a huge fan of P&T get killed, I cant remember the first time I saw it, but its been in my collection for at least a decade now, probably close to two. My copy is just a crummy VHS copy though, I would love to buy it on DVD.

I loved League of Extrodinary Gentlemen as I am a huge fan of classic pulp and science fiction. I also loved the move Sky Captain and the World of Tomarrow, which was very similar IMO.
