Penn and Teller get people to sign a petition restricting... - 2007/05/20 19:35 protesting within 300 feet of the White House while they were 200 feet away from the White House, also they were using a protest tatic. They got many signatures and the sad thing is, if said patition were to pass the signers would be breaking the law.

Re:Penn and Teller get people to sign a petition restricting... - 2007/05/21 18:54 It was the Mount Rushmore episode. But, to the American people's credit, there were a lot of people who refused to sign it, and they had the footage to prove it.

But some people will sign anything. One day I'd like to write a petition that's not for or against anything in particular, but just makes zero sense. Like a petition to declare "bicycle" to be a synonym for "warehouse".
