Teller Talking - 2006/04/23 22:57 Even though this is a Penn board, I thought I'd just let you all in, for those who haven't heard Teller speak, that he can be heard speaking on "Houdini: Unlocking the Mystery" on the History Channel. I'll try and track down a copy, as it just showed on Television, it might be a few days.

Also, there was a little bit of Penn in there also, but no talking by him.

Teller is the "greyed out" character speaking about Houdini, but you can clearly tell it's him.

On another note, this show was very interesting and filled with all kinds of tid-bits of information.

Re:Teller Talking - 2006/04/24 06:16 I love listening to Teller - Whether it's on NPR or that "to-the-camera" bit in their Magic and Mystery Tour where he explains (with real joy) how Koram fooled him...

edit: thanks, oh evil one! Have some Karma...

edit2: ahh! now JoMadge is doing it, could you pass the karma on oh evil one...?
there is no possible use for a signature* except to demonstrate how funny/geeky/cynical/pathetic you are.

Re:Teller Talking (on Houdini Special) - 2007/05/12 22:38 Why did the black out his face exactly? They said on screen that it was teller, you could see by the outline of his head it was him... why not just show him talking. I have seen him on another houdini special and they didnt block his face...

Re:Teller Talking - 2007/05/13 03:31 I believe it's because if Teller is to appear speaking on camera, there has to be some kind of gimmick. In P&T Get Killed, he's hanging upside down; in BS episodes he's talking through a prop sometimes, and so forth.

What he should have done was to conduct the interview in Latin. That way someone would have to dub over his real voice.
