Got my GF good with a Penn trick - 2007/03/22 04:21 (I live in Korea so this trick hasn't gotten the coverage it's gotten in the West.)

Anyway, my GF and I were at some buffet and they had crème brûlée with a cherry on top. When she wasn't looking I made a knot out of one of the cherry stems and popped it into my mouth. I showed her the other cherry with stem intact. I'm like "check out what I can do with my tongue". I put the second stem in my mouth. A bit of swishing around for good effect. Out comes the knotted stem.

SHE'S STUNNED.

I quickly revealed to her how the trick was done, lest she now expects, ummm, such tongue dexterity in other areas of our life.

I keep wanting to do the creamer trick, where you pretend to stab your eye, but that creamers here are dinky things.

I was with you up to this point. You could have milked that for a few days at least before giving the trick away.

Re:Got my GF good with a Penn trick - 2007/03/22 11:54 I FINALLY found a place in town that still has the little creamer cups as opposed to the powdered crap (I guess you could do some sort of anthrax gag with the powdered stuff, but it wouldn't be near as dramatic). The sad thing was, the people I was eating with all are aware of the trick and, since it was a dinky lunch counter we were eating at, I didn't want to cause a cleanup headache for the staff. I did take a creamer with me, though, and since I have time, I'm thinking about injecting it with some red food coloring to add to the effect when I finally do pull of the trick.

Re:Got my GF good with a Penn trick - 2007/03/23 23:56 I can't work up the nerve to try the creamer trick, even in a sparsely-populated IHOP, at a dinner table full of people I don't really care about. Last night would have been perfect.
