2nd- They did not get offended by the guy who threatened Penn's life.

3rd- Penn and everyone, have evidence to back up the statement.

4th- Even if there were no evidence for it, he could say it is that GODDAMN FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

That said, they're idiots for trying. NBC knew whom they were hiring, and they don't likely give a rat's ass. If anything, the media brouhaha will only get more minds infested with "Penn Jillette...NBC game show...Identity". The fact that some People's Front of Judea/Catholic League idiots have some grievance with him is not information most people or even most Catholics are likely to retain. To any non-Catholic, the "C" word equals "pedophile priest" or "nazi Pope". They were toothless against South Park, a basic cable show, they'll be equally toothless against NBC.
