New Baby... New Web Site! - 2006/05/23 00:17 Hi! My new Penn web site is now up and running at: http://www.pennjillette.org. Please come by and take a look! It's not as great as Penn Fans (yet!) But, I am trying... and it supposed to be a little different! Let me know what you think!

Re:New Baby... New Web Site! - 2006/05/24 18:32 Looking good, Christine. My only qualm/nitpick with it is that all of the text is in picture format. That seems weird to me. But on the flip side, you as a webmaster, control exactly how it looks to the reader. But flipping the flip side (?) that could be an issue for the handicapped, and/or people who prefer reading text at different sizes. Also, I forget if you have <alt> tags for the text/pictures, but if not, webpage-reading programs for the blind will see nothing on the page.
Besides that, cool page. I even learned a few new things about Penn!

Re:New Baby... New Web Site! - 2006/05/25 01:36 Thanks! I am new to the web design thing! My husband hooked me up with the templates in iLife (working on a Mac). I'm going to run your suggestions by him and learn how to make it more accessible. I am a teacher, and have to write adaptive lesson plans for students with disabilities... this is a topic that is interesting to me. Thanks for the info! I will be uploading new stuff regularly (trying to keep up w/ the blog etc. If you (or anyone else) have any Penn stories, photos artwork you would like to share feel free to send it to my e-mail address and I'll post it! It puts most of my work to shame but I suppose thats because I don't use templates and I'm not very good at making them.
