Yup, our faithful admin is right.
Right now, there are three "offical" options for people to tune into the show online (not including our site): 1) Live streaming radio 2) Official Podcast 3) Downlading of individual shows
(1) Live Steaming Radio To listen to the live show, which airs 2-3pm EST, you can point your web browser to: http://www.pennradio.com, and click on the "Listen Live" picture on the lower right side of the first page. You'll have to log in the first time, but after that, I think it's fairly straight forward. (ps. I think our faithful admin will be dropping the exact addresses of the streams, which will change these instructions slightly, for the better)
*Edit: Here are a few of the live streams. Open these in Windows Media Player, or your favourite media player, and they should be just fine! FreeFM Los Angeles:http://bdcast-infinity-klsx-fm.wm.llnwd.net/bdcast_infinity_klsx-fm FreeFM Las Vegas:http://bdcast-infinity-ksfn-am.wm.llnwd.net/bdcast_infinity_ksfn-am FreeFM Dallas:http://bdcast-infinity-klli-fm.wm.llnwd.net/bdcast_infinity_klli-fm FreeFM New York:http://bdcast-infinity-wfny-fm.wm.llnwd.net/bdcast_infinity_wfny-fm They should all be the same, except maybe for the ads in the local areas End Edit*
If you're like me, you're rarely in front of the computer at that time, or can't devote the entire hour to listening live in one sitting, so you'll want the file as a separate download, which you can listen to, pause, rewind, fast forward, etc, like any other audio file on your computer or media player (ie, an mp3). That's where the second two options come in.
(2) Podcast If you are currently (or interested in) grabbing each of the subsequent shows via a genuine podcast feed (with the help of iTunes, iPodder, iPodderX, etc), then you can grab the "Official" feed here: http://www.923freefm.com/pages/podcast/80.rss. Just input that address into the program, and it will automatically download the file as soon as it's released (within a few hours of it going live). For instance, today's show is already out on the podcast.
(3) Direct Download If you prefer grabbing each show individually within your web browser, if you check http://www.pennradio.com, you can see that Friday's (March 31) show has been uploaded (check for "Atheist Boy Scouts and Atomic Bombs" under Featured Audio), and previous ones as well. Just click on "Download" to grab the mp3 file, or "Play" if you want to listen to the file sitting at your computer, which staying on that particular page (not as convenient for my tastes). I imagine they'll update today's show sometime overnight.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask them here!
