Re:Latest Appearance on The View - 2006/11/02 01:37 They gave copies of the BS show to The View audience. Now, maybe I'm being a biased prig, but it seems to me most of the women in The View audience are the Sylvia Browne crowd. I wonder what they'll think.

The card trick. My guess is it was a forced choice and then Teller slipped a deck where all the cards were 4 of spades into the baby kit.

Re:Latest Appearance on The View - 2006/11/02 01:45 Don't wait too long either to check out the clip. Youtube is cracking down major on this kind of thing. It's not too hard to create a script to search for a list of all known TV shows and then flag them for review.

Re:Latest Appearance on The View - 2006/11/02 12:17 Am I the only one who can't get it to work? It plays for 4 seconds, and then stops. The whole bar lights up red, as if it's loaded all 6:06 minutes, but there's only 4 seconds. I'm not having trouble with any other YouTube videos.

Re:Latest Appearance on The View - 2006/11/02 16:48 I always love watching Penn and Teller doing their thing no matter who the audience is. As far as handing out free BS DVDs.. you never know, they might change some minds out there.

That was brilliant! They should have forced the 3 of clubs though.

Re:Latest Appearance on The View - 2006/11/02 17:58 i was thinking the same thing, but the 3 of clubs is penn and teller's card, this was really moxie's trick, so maybe the 4 of spades is moxie's card.

season 3 is when they did their gun control episode, and it really kills me that rosie was the one who was pimping it.

Re:Latest Appearance on The View - 2006/11/02 18:17 Was the four of spades symbolic of the four women on the view? Or is there no deep meaning attached? I guess enough people know about the three of clubs that they can't use that anymore? You think?

LOL! bananas, i never even thought of that. and as soon as i read it, i agreed that it probably was some inside/subliminal joke on the 4 VIEW women. and if it's not, don't tell us, penn. let us have that much. lol.

Re:Latest Appearance on The View - 2006/11/03 09:11 Well I went to Mofobabe's page, the Penn & Teller Bulletin Board and asked the question anyway and here's what Penn had to say:

"Hey, what do you think we can control what card gets picked at
random? That seems impossible.

We didn't want to use the 3 of clubs for this, we just changed it up
a bit."
