Re:The.Penn.Jillette.Radio.Show.2006.05.05.CrissAngel - 2006/05/08 19:49 Sweet, can't wait to hear it. I'm a huge magic guy and P&T and Criss Angel are my two favorites and I love to hear them talk magic, especially about my least favorite magician Blain (twah...)

Re:The.Penn.Jillette.Radio.Show.2006.05.08.CrissAn - 2006/05/08 21:53 the episode today was absolutely hilarious.

just penn trying to explain david blaine's magic ability to that caller(s) killed me.

and criss angel seems such a down to earth guy, nothing like his magic persona on tv. and if anyone says he's cocky, arrogant son-of-a-bitch for challanging blaine to a ... "magic-off", they're dumb. criss has every right to be a cocky, arrogant son-of-a-bitch because he's talking about David Blaine.

Re:The.Penn.Jillette.Radio.Show.2006.05.08.CrissAn - 2006/05/09 19:44 As much as I dislike David Blaine's mediocre magic, and meaningless stunts, it does appear to me that his breath hold was the real deal.

As far as I know, people cannot make their lips go blue on demand. Obviously he came nowhere near record breaking, but I was pretty impressed with the demonstration.

If it turns out that it was just a trick, then I'm happy to retract my statment, but it really didn't look like a trick. Anyone got any other opinions on the matter?

Oh I agree, David blain obvioulsy dosent even know how Teller "holds his breath underwater" for 12 minutes. He couldn't even get out of the chains....He dosen't do magic. All he did was cause some brain damage and ruin his hands (somthing that a real magician would never do)

If it was supposed to be a trick he clearly blew it which is much worse (and funnier).
