In what sense of the word? Legitimate in the sense that they work, yes. Legitimate in that Penn and Teller or Showtime or somebody posted them? Not that I know of, no.

Re:free BS - 2007/06/09 22:24 Technically I think they are illegal unless they had permission from Showtime. Which brings up an interesting issue which I would like to see Penn & Teller do on bullshit. What do they think of online piracy? Downloading music, videos stuff like that. When the napster incident happened a few years ago with Metallica and Dr. Dre a lot of people accused them of being greedy and all that bullshit but now it seems people have realized they were right all along in fighting what is essentially stealing. I think P&T should do a show on that, show both sides and see what they think of it all.

Re:free BS - 2007/06/11 11:42 When asked about BS being posted on YouTube:

"For us it is nothing but good... People see the bootleg copies of stuff that we've done that's not being aired anywhere. Some stuff from years ago and they come see our show and we benefit from it. But the fact that we benefit from it does not make it morally or legally right." - Penn

Re:free BS - 2007/06/11 22:23 Don't do it. It costs money to make TV shows and CDs. If you want it you have to repay the ones whose money made it happen. Rent it, buy it, but don't just take it without tithing (an atheist's version of a tithe).

my 2 cents...or 10% of my income, whichever is less....
