Mount Rushmore - 2007/05/11 00:18 Good episode, discuss.

All I have to say, is that Lars Larson IS AN ASS! This is from his wikipedia page: "Another controversial moment occurred on November 13, 2005, when Larson, speaking on his show, threatened to shoot his own daughter if "she ever tries marijuana or any other form of drugs. And she knows I mean it."

Re:Mount Rushmore - 2007/05/11 19:31 I was a bit like "Mount Rushmore?" WTF? Secret UFO bases in Washington's nose? What could this ep be about? What's so BSy about Mount Rushmore. But yeah, a show about patriotism. It was okay. Maybe being Canadian I missed something. It was nice to see their flag burning trick which Penn talked (ugg I first wrote that in present tense ) a lot about on the show.

Regarding not being able to say nasty stuff about politicians in other nations. In Korea, the current president, upon taking office, had to give comedians permission to make fun of him. When some actually took him up on this permission, he quickly withdrew it. Someone like Michael Moore would have been in jail a long time ago. You are not allowed to post any kind of satirical political commentary during an election.

Even libel laws are bizarre. The Korean constitution protects a person's reputation over the truth. So a person can be successfully sued if he reveals, say, X head of a corporation was once convicted of a crime. A simple statement of fact but since you know it can damage the person's reputation, well, how dare you reveal it. Fuk up, man.

And hot dancing naked chick. (In BS!, not Korea.)

Re:Mount Rushmore - 2007/05/11 20:13 They seem to use that particular naked chick for a lot of their gratuitous nudity. Who is she?
