Penn & Teller take their offbeat and bloody magic act to the United Kingdom. Tricks performed include Are We Live?, Teller's Woodchipper Trick, Dying On Stage, The Audio-Animatronic Teller Trick and many more. Each episode is about 30min long and features a british guest star. Guests include Stephen Fry, John Cleese, Dawn French, Fiona Fullerton, Alexei Sayle, and Christopher Reeve.
This six part series aired on Channel 4 in the UK in early 1994. The Unpleasant World of Penn & Teller was only released on PAL VHS. There is no NTSC DVD or VHS release of this series.
